Jordan was a werewolf and according to someone at Target, the most popular costume for boys this year.

And reluctantly at first, Corey was nailed the Verizon Guy, complete with bushy eyebrows and sideburns.  He won first place in the costume contest at Youth Group.

Riley’s Favorite Things

October 28, 2009 3 comments

Wendy and I love the fact that Riley still likes to cuddle.  He’s the only cuddler left amongst the three boys.  And it probably wont last for very long either.  So we both fight for the chance to cuddle with him a couple minutes in the morning and at night.

This morning while Wendy went to coffee with a friend, Riley shared his top four things in the world with me.

  1. Chocolate
  2. Lego’s
  3. his Taggie

and then he added a fourth…..fighting.

soccer

Today  Jordan and i  had a soccer game.

Corey: I played a team that fouls a lot.  The refs were really bad they called everything for the other team, but nothing for us.  All of the refs had little brothers on the other team.  Our coach got really mad at them.  He is going to file a complaint.  After the game our coach told us not to shake the refs hands.  I played forward.  I had one guy and gained .  I gave two really good passes, but he shot them right at the keeper.  We lost 3-1.

Jordan: At the being warm-ups i sprained my finger, but i had to play.  We lost 4-1.  Our coach said it was our best game.  I played left defender.  It was fun!  My refs were favoring the other team.  The refs were bad.  Two of the other teams goals should have been offsides.

Corey: Our team record is 3 wins, 1 lose, and 3 ties.   We are in 3rd out of 8th place.  I have played mostly forward.  I have scored two goals.  One scoring a tying goal.  All my goals have come when my mom is not there.

Jordan: His team record is 0 wins, 4 loses, and 2 ties.  They are in 7th out of 9th place.  He has played all defender.  He has blocked a lot of shots with his body.  He has taken the ball a lot.

Disneyland

In the early morning hours of September the 27 we drove to Disneyland.  We got there at 9:30 am.  We went on some rides and then my cousins joined us until 7:30 pm.  While they were here we went on some fun rides!  Like Matterhorn, Autopia, Thunder Mountain, Star Tours, and watched the character parade.  We had a late lunch at the Blue Bayou.  It was really good food!  Then we went to Jedi training!  Riley got picked to be a Young ling.  He learned some cool moves.  Then he fought Darth Vader!  Riley beat him.  That was his favorite ride/show.  Some of the kids were really funny, one just started whacking Darth Vader on the head.  Then we went on some rides at night it was fun!  We left at 11:20 pm.

The next day we woke up in our hotel room.  Then we went to downtown Disney.  First we went to the biggest Lego store in the world.  We eat at the Rain Forest Cafe for lunch.  Jordan got a build a bear.  We went to the ESPN zone, where we played in the arcade.  We also went to the biggest Disney store in the world.  It was a great weekend!

Boston-Day 2

Today we went to Fenway Park. We sat in seats that have been there since 1934. The game was good. David Ortiz hit a home run a top the green monster. The Red Sox won in the bottom of the 9th inning.

After the game we walked on the warning track of Fenway. I took some dirt.

On our way to the hotel Jordan cracked his cast. My dad went to the emergency. Jordan got a green cast.

While Jordan and my dad were at the emergency room my mom and me were at the pool chillin‘. We stayed there for 2 hours.

We ordered pizza to the room which was HUGE!

All in all we had a great day!
